OK, looks like this part of the forum hasn't had much activity lately so here goes. Birthday and Christmas are coming up and my wife asked me what I wanted... heh-heh! I've got this Street Rod:  and I'm using a Blackstar extension cab with it which is OK but I thought it would be really cool to get the matching Splawn 1x12 cabinet. So I got the go ahead to order it. I emailed Scott and sent the picture but I'm pretty sure it's Vintage White tolex, gold piping (sure of that) and salt and pepper grill. Does anyone know what the timeframe is to get a 1x12 cab? I know full amps take a matter of several weeks... Edit: Hey that image looks a whole lot like my avatar! But you can zoom in on it... |

It sure. When I ordered my amp from Scott the turnaround was about 3 months. It of course an amp is a bigger project than a cabinet.
Don’t quote me but I think I heard that Scott is once again a one man operation...?
What speaker are you going with?

Don’t quote me but I think I heard that Scott is once again a one man operation...? What speaker are you going with? Heard from Scott, he said about three weeks. Sweet! Cabs take a lot less time than full amps I guess, makes sense. No speaker, gonna put the greenback I have in the Blackstar in the new Splawn cab and put the old 70/80 back in the Blackstar. Trying to keep the cost down for now. |

Street Rod and Blackstar are both 40 watt combo amps. The greenback is in an extension cab that is used with the combo so I'm good. B)

Ordered!! Scott was cool, had me send him the serial number of my amp so he could make sure that the cabinet will match (tolex, piping, grill etc...) A true class act.  |

Awesome. Can't wait to see pics! Will definitely post pics. The new cab will be pristine, unlike my Street Rod, it's been gigged! Not bad just a scrape here and there on the sides. |

I love combo half stacks! They look neat and cool. Easier to carry around. I have one and also a 4x12 half stack. Here's a pic of my combo half stack and my 4x12 but sorry they're not Splawn. Don't tear into me! 😁   |

Lol yeah that's an old pic. Most of the wiring is my 20 and 30 foot patch cords in my tiny guitar room. Plus i didn't have my board there set up.
