I’m wondering....
If you get a long speaker cable and setup a speaker on both sides of your practice space, I’ll be that rig would sound HUGE. 🎸🎸🎸
Not sure if you mentioned it already, but what are you running for ohms with both cabs now?

I was thinking about that but was wondering about the ohms... but did the math this morning and it would work! I'd have to put an 8 ohm speaker in my Blackstar (running 16 in the Street Rod and the new cab). That would allow me to set the impedance on the Street Rod to 4...
It's doable!

I'd have to put an 8 ohm speaker in my Blackstar (running 16 in the Street Rod and the new cab). That would allow me to set the impedance on the Street Rod to 4... It's doable! I have 2 2x12 cabs, both wired for 8 ohms and for a while I’ve wanted to try hooking them both up and setting the impedance at 4.... Maybe I’ll give this a go.... |

I have a Small Block/G12T-75 combo in each cab. Cool, that sounds like a good combo. Warmer T75 with the edgier Small Block, probably like what I have with the Creamback/Greenback combo. Gonna be able to fire mine up at the first band practice of the new year on Saturday! Edit: Would like to try a Small Block sometime... I like what I have now but always on the tone quest. |
