Hey brother, just got the update from Scott himself,he told me he thinks it maybe a couple of things, first he said it might be a grounding issue from bad solder connection from the PCs board on the loop, or it could be the pot could be loose or dirty! I told Scott I tried putting in jacks into the fx loop and problem still there, then once I told him about the noise gets louder when turning the loop volume down he said that’s how he knows it’s a grounding issue! I’ll try making the pot tighter but if it don’t work Scott said don’t worry it won’t hurt the amp just if need be turn the bypass on when powering it up and once it catches the ground it works fine! Also he stressed the fact not to raise the mv on the amp past 10 o’clock due to when I first got the amp I had the master volume on 3 o’clock and loop volume at 1 o’clock,he didn’t think that caused my issue but could hurt the pcb board on the loop! Like I said I owned the Slo100 for 23 years and honestly I can see owning the nitro for life due to how much I love the sound and now that it has a clean bill of health my head is fully cleared! Thanks again for all your help brother and I hope this helps other users if they have any issues as well!

Glad you got your answers Claptonman! Nothing worse than not knowing what's wrong with your amp and how much it's going to run you up!

Hey guys, just a quick update, after I talked to Scott and the group I tried 2 monster 1000 guitar cables in the loop and took them in and out a few times to make sure connection was good and problem solved! Just got done playing the amp for 3 hours with my tc nova system and it sounds amazing, the loop works so much better then my old Soldano slo100 loop and doesn’t seem to loose tone at all!this amp for me is now the best amp I’ve ever owned and from what I can see can do any kind of tone u want! Thanks again guys for all your help and I’m glad to be part of the splawn family!

Glad you got it all sorted Claptonman.
Yeah, the loop is pretty rock solid on these things. They can take a lot.
