I just emailed Scott about possibly having an SS1 built for me!! I’ll need to sell a couple of my guitars that I haven’t been using to help fund the purchase but that’s ok!! Right now I have 11 guitars and play 3 of them regularly. No sense having a bunch of guitars collecting dust. I’ll be selling a LP Studio in “copper top”. A discontinued color from 2004. It has BKP Rebel Yell calibrated set of pups. This was my #1 for YEARS.... Also a DBZ Barchetta in Siberian Quilt. EMG 81/85 18v mod Tremsetter installed EVH D-Tuna AFAIK, not a scratch on her.
I’m excited to hear Scott’s price quote on the specs I sent him!!

I believe Daphne Blue. Double crime Dimarzios (not exactly sure which models) but I’m open to any suggestions of any brand. Birdseye maple neck. I’m on the fence about what Neck profile I’d like. I definitely want the 1 11/16 nut width. And I LOVE the 60’s profile on my Les Paul. So something similar would be great. I wouldn’t mind a little thinner either. On the Warmoth website they have a chart of all the neck profiles they offer. For me, it would be between the standard C and the Wizard profile. They also offer the EVH asymmetrical profile which is interesting too...way too many choices.

Lol ....I thought when you said you were getting an SS built for you, you were talking about a Super Sport lol. But niw i am even more exited to see and hear about the guitar as I heard he makes really good guitars also.
I just got back from my buddies which is 5 hours away with the two guitars he traded me. First time owning guitars with dimarzio's and man I love them! Blue has Super Distortion in bridge and Pro in neck. Red one has tone zone bridge and evolution neck. Blue guitar has a kill switch installed now too. Very fun!
Will post a new pic and hopefully you can see it lol.

The specs Alder body, Birdseye neck and Fret board, Jumbo Frets, Seymour Duncan pickups sh2 jazz in the neck custom custom in the bridge both in zebra with black bezels. Black hardware Original Floyd Rose. Color a nice Artic white with some bling in the finish. Neck shape between a Jackson SL2H and Gibson V rolling with Scotts input on this. Hope that helps. Ya it is a six month process. It gets started when you place the order. Billing is like the Amp heads half up front the balance when complete.. I wouldn't worry about it Scott makes some awesome stuff. I have some Carvin guitars and they take around 8 to 12 weeks.

Now, if I’m not mistaken, he uses a center strip of mahogany. Is that what you are getting or are you going straight alder?
I’m so up in the air about a lot of the choices I have. I love the Daphne blue but I also wouldn’t mind a gentle sparkle in the paint job. Like a slate grey sparkle would be cool too. The custom custom , from what I’ve heard on YouTube sounds killer. Scott told me a while back it’s his favorite. I consider myself more of a Dimarzio guy but maybe some Duncan’s is just what I need in this guitar for diversity. Good to know that Scott might be able to help me with the neck profile. Did you speak with him on the phone or through email?

Why does it take 4 to 6 months? That cnc machine made that beautiful body in 3.5 minutes!! (Just a joke)😁

I spoke with Scott over the phone. I think his lead times are the way they are because he has a small shop not sure how many guys he has working with him and Scott does do the work also. When I ordered my 4x12 it took me 3 months to get it. Let us know what you get back from Scott.

Yeah, I believe the bulk of his operation is amp building. When I ordered my QR it was about 3 1/2 months lead time. And I think he only has 3-4 guys working there too.
