Hey we all have guitars but we also have a number one guitar. This number one guitar is usually the one you play the most and with good reason. Why do you love it so much? What makes it different than all the others? Here is a chance to show it off a little and Mby say a few things that makes it special. Please show pictures! If you don't have pictures, chances are it's probably an Epiphone.. I'll go first! Here is my #1 and it is my first PRS guitar, it's a '96 custom 24 that my mom bought me in highschool. This was the guitar that really started it all. I since then got a floyd rose installed and stainless steel jumbo frets, making this particular PRS a wet dream. The original color was Royal Blue but as you can tell its more of a Faded River Green now. I've even went as far as naming this guitar to Apollo l. I recently did a pickup swap from the standard HFS/Vintage Bass to 59/09 set. HFS/ Vintage Bass are kinda a standard pickup that came in the majority of custom 24s in the 80's/90's. Great pickup and amazing for 80s hair metal, thus dubbed hot, fat, and screaming. But I have another guitars with these same exact pickups, so I decided to give the 59/09 set a try. Omg sweet as can be! Very glossy and posh w/bite and loads low end but the emphasis is on the sparkle. Coil tap on the neck position is to die for. I might make a video ltr. Well here it is!

Here's mine: 2012 Gibson Les Paul Standard Honey burst finish AAA Flamed Maple top Coil tap Phase tap Originally came with Burstbucker Pro pickups but it didn't take long until I put some Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell pickups in there. It sounds amazing, just thick as hell and powerful. In its 4 year life it's already seen tons of gigs. It has a couple of small bumps and bruises but I bought this guitar to PLAY....not to baby it.

The finish did fade naturally, I actually forgot the way it looked until I took the pickup rings off. I mean it was Royal Blue and as we all know that's really a true blue, but now it's a very deep Aquatic Green.

Dude! I love your guitar! I'm not a Gibson guy but that is one good looking guitar. It's an AAA top? I guess that's pretty rare to see a Gibson with a wild top like that. Killer! By the way you look ripped man! I pretty much have a body bild of that girl standing next to you. Actually if I showed that picture to my friends they'd believe me that I was in a new band as a singer lol

I can see the blue inside the Floyd cavity...to be honest both colors look awesome, I think

I've been doing the gym thing for the better part of 10 years now. Before I met my wife I was living the rock n roll lifestyle man! I had put on a lot of weight from all the partying. Then one day I looked in the mirror and didn't like what I saw and started changing my lifestyle. Haven't touched booze since....

Nice!! Is the first one a Schecter? I was looking at a Schecter when I was in the market for a 7-string. I ended up getting a good deal on an Iron Label Ibanez instead.

Yeah. Like I said. Nothing like what you guys are carrying I walked into a Sams about 8 years ago and picked up a cheapo (probably plywood) strat thing for $99 and it felt so good in my hands I had to have an electric guitar. Specifically a Fender Strat. So I bought a Fender Standard MIM HSS Strat. That's what has started my journey. I bought the Schecter C1+ from Best Buy for $299 new. I wanted another guitar so I didn't have to constantly drop from E to C tuning. It was cheap and felt good so I bought it. Replaced the pick ups and I have to say it is a pretty decent guitar.

Is that a diamond series? I've played one of those, my friend had one for a wile and the action on it was forever haunting. Believe it or not I've never owned a guitar with a fixed bridge. RE tuning must be a breeze.

NO. Just a C1+ Classic series I believe. Tuning is a breeze but so is a Vintage Tremolo like on my Strat - which is a Standard MIM HSS BTW NOT a $99 plywood Sams special LOL.

My main fixed bridge: I collect Japanese guitars, old esp/ibanez but this one I can't stop playing. 1981 Ibanez RR2, hand crafted with the AAA top that is very faded. This one is active, but i have another one with a Kent Armstrong/Dimarzio combo in it that I will eventually change to emgs.
