Nice!! I have one also in creme colour. I put a Warmoth neck with maple fretboard and tons of birdseye on it. Nicest neck i ever played but expensive! Love having the single coil neck position. Very versatile guitar!

Cool colour, midnight wine? I have two 90's MIM strats that I EMG'd, perfect top 40 weapons...always stay in tune.

Very versatile guitar! I've been in the market for a strat for a little while and I agonized over a SSS or HSS. But in the end I figured since im a rock guy the bucket made sense and besides the strat's "magic" lies in that neck pickup anyway...IMO

I popped open the rear cavity and was pleasantly surprised that the previous owned had installed a brass block in the Trem!!

Ya i agree the strat magic sound is in the neck pup. I am like you, play rock mostly with bridge but nice to have the single neck pup to play blues or whatever. Mine has a brass big block in it. I honestly can't tell the difference whenever i installed one of those. Maybe a tad more sustain but hard to compare because yiu can't go back and forth unless you have two identical guitars with big and regular blocks. But might be just me...... They're not too expensive or hard to install.

Yup, it's a pretty common mod from what I gather

I also ordered noiseless Trem springs and a brass stopper so I can put the EVH d-tuna in too!!!

The cool thing with the mexican ones is if you take of the scratch plate, the body is already routed for H/S/H so you can pop in any pre-loaded configuration you like! Also the standard model comes with the high mass block. This is mine getting the EMG treatment.

Oops, my bad. Mine are from the 90's so they only have the one humbucker option.

Nice !! I have another "strat-like" guitar with EMG's. I had them wired for 18v. I use it for a backup guitar live but I do quite a bit of recording with it.

I think the big brass blocks are a must for floyd equipped guitars. I got one for my floyd PRS custom24, noticed a difference immediately. I too also got the noiseless springs, but I find that toilet paper works too since my bridge floats I had to get a trem stop system, it's awesome!
