Actually that pic is from a little wile ago, so one of the springs is a standard one. Three was not enough, so I actually bought the stronger red ones, bitchin!

I was playing my 7 string last night and the Trem springs were friggin vibrating like you wouldn't believe. Built in reverb!!! Looks like I'll be getting noiseless springs for that guitar too!!

Hey try toilet paper for the time being. I got that idea from Steve Vai, roll some up, put it in and close it with the back plate. I honestly feel like it works better that the springs

I read something about that today too!! The other idea I read is to put a length of tube just small enough of a diameter to slide into each spring and obviously just shorter than the spring.

I brought he Strat in to be setup....install an EVH D-tuna, noiseless springs etc, etc, etc. Also im having them eliminate one of the tone knobs and making the remaining one universal and moving the volume knob to the middle knob because I hit it when I'm playing and end up turning the knob "off"...lol
I love the shop that I go to for these things....they just type your name into the computer and up pops all your guitars, the specs from the last setup, all the mods done on them, string gauge, action height, all of it...

Dude, no kidding...they are the best around. I've tried others in the past with not so good results....ill never go anywhere else. They have an amp tech that is amazing with all kinds of vintage to modern sh!t.
