New for 2016 switchable options Mid Scoop Switch Option, cuts the mid freq similar to our Nitro circuit. Old/New Switch option, switches the voicing to the older 2006 Quickrod style. Drop B+ switch option switches from standard voltage to a lower plate voltage to give the Quickrod that variac feel.

I'd love to know if these are available as add-ons for those of us who already have an amp?

Just got the email about this, very interesting. I wonder, will the amp need to be rebiased when using the voltage option? I like my mids so I probably wouldn't use that switch but it would be nice to have a newer QR with the option to get the sound of my old amp.

Hey Guys The mid switch is the only option that we could do on all the amps we have built. The Drop B+ switch depends on the power transformer that is in the amp and the old/new switch has to have the latest PCB, some 2014 and all of 2015 would work. When you switch to the Drop B+ you will not have to change the bias, the switch takes care of that.

The Drop B+ will only work on the 100 watt amps. We could do the other switches on the Streetrod if it has the latest PCB.

The best just got better. All they have to do now is add space thrusters.

How can I find out information about getting these options added to my Streetrod head? I've been trying to reach Scott via email, but I've not received any response.

I know that first off it depends on what transformers are in your Streetrod. The newer amps use "lay down" mains which I understand are the ones that can accept the mods. But honestly I am not sure if he is planning on modding older amps. He may be, but I am not sure.
