Cool guys...Like I said I like some "hair" to my tone...Even though SRV used Fenders, I liked the dirt he got when using the TS. Has anyone tried backing off the volume knob on the guitar in the OD channel?? How well does it clean up?? Thanks! -Joe Works great for me, I run 3rd gear, preamp dimed, and use a lot off roll off from the guitar. I also had a capacitor added to the volume control so it will roll off gain, but keep the tone/volume up a bit.. its almost like changing the 3rg gear to first gear when I roll back guitar volume 1/2 way. OOoo I need that . I hate that my tone dies off when I use the volume pedal to clean up the guitar. I wish it would keep the tone settings and just roll of some volume. How hard is it to install the capacitors?

How hard is it to install the capacitors? its easy install.. just take it to your tech.. get the right one installed that makes you happy, different values give you different responces. I took me about 3 tries before I locked into one. one of the best things I have done to my guitar other than pickups. I think I use a 330pf in mine or close to that. using CT pots..

The capacitor goes in line with the volume pot? I have stock pots in both my guitars but I was thinking of upgrading them as well.
