I don't even own a practice amp, I use a half-stack for practice and everything in the house. I guess I just got used to it being in my parents house. They'd constantly b1tch at me for having it too loud. Everything else just seems like over kill to me. I am in the process of looking for a house w/ a basement now so that may all change.

I love basement jams..turn the lights off..light some candles..light some greenery ;D..and jam all night!

Oh yeah, I wish we had basements here. I have a dedicated bedroom but its pretty small. Not the same as having your own basement!!!! Those were the days.

Oh yes good times. A friend that I work with plays bass and his roommate plays drums. he just bought a small house with a basement and he's all set up down there. I went over there a few weekends ago and we jammed with a horn player! It was bass, guitar, drums and trumpet . We just did improve jazzy jams. Good stuff!

I don't think I need to say it...it's about as much a fact as water's wet and the sky's blue..LOL.. I'm originally from mercer county..talk about expensive..you can either live in a schit part of town or, well that's about it..lol...the houses are either 500k + or age restricted...nothing for people in my age group to do..so I moved to Burlington..much more managable down there

I hear ya. I live in Ocean County but work in Monmouth and I can't afford either! Being by the coast certainly doesn't help the price either but I need to be by the beach because I was raised here and surfing is my other passion. That's why we'll be renting unfortunately, no way we could buy a house right now.

I hope you gig out with all that good stuff . Nothing kills me more than a wall of full stack amps and guitars for someone jamming in their bedroom. No offense meant dude, I'm just jealous because I'm a poor man. I have 1 combo amp and 1 half stack and 2 guitars. Nahh, i don`t gig out I just love nice guitars and amps. It's better than collecting stamps;) But don't worry, i get to crank the amps up to gig levels, my basement is pretty big. I've got a PA and drum set. So we get pretty good jams. It's all good, Chris

No offense meant dude, I'm just jealous because I'm a poor man. I have 1 combo amp and 1 half stack and 2 guitars. yep, it's like those guys that have all that expensive golf stuff....checkered pants, alligator shoes, checkered cap, $5000 golf clubs....step up to the tee and shank everything....WWWIIIIIFFFFF.....it was almost a cliche' in SoCal: if you had bad dude expensive gear you ain't any good (not all the time BUT most of the time!)...we would go to gigs and some bands had all this very expensive stuff...Neil Peart drum kit, 2 stacks Marshalls without a scratch on em, expensive bass rig...9 times out of ten, they step up on stage and SUCK...usually SUCK big time...No offense to this guy posting here...I don't know him...just sayin' that's all. Yeah well i ain't the kind of guy to show off my expensive gear and saying i'm a good this and that....No way, i'm just really pround of my stuff. As a matter of fact, the only place i can show my stuff is on music boards, cause you guys can appreciate this stuff, here at home, nobody cares about it But i understand what your saying, here is like that too. Big trucks and they use it to go shopping Chris
