How do I connect something to Splawn Competition to run it as a power amp?
I think running Competition preamp into other head is quite simple, I use "mute" button for power amp and run fx send to some other amp return.
But I think I've connected something into Competition return jack and there was no sound ( I could hear noise so power amp was on).
For example in Diezel Einstein I had to... put some cable into "guitar in" to get it working.
Also...will it run power amp at full blast when you run something into Splawn? I have that issue in Marshall (seems like master vol is before fx loop). In Diezel power controls related to power amp (deep, presence, vol) work when I connect something to FX return.
I want to..run pod XT into Splawn ... to see if I can reproduce this sound
probably not.
Though I've managed to get similar sound form podxt as in my Diezel Einstein (Dual recto + EQ on pod) so I'm open minded now.
