Gear question

Hi guys
I am a new splawn owner, I just picked up a comp 2011.
I can't really get my head around the gears and the over drives.
My question is this. On the foot switch, od1 od2. Is this just another name for the gears? Or do I have a over drive one and two for each gear?
It came with the wrong foot switch so I have the right one on the way. And I'm sure that will come with even more questions. Lol
i guess the answer for the question up top will answer this one, if I'm not using my foot switch and just using the gear switch am I missing out on the over drives?
Man what a great sounding amp, the tone I've had in my head for years.

I now know i went to the right amp company, it is 8:30 and Scott just sent me an e mail and explained to me how it all works. Who dose that at 8:30 at night.

Scott or whoever has answered the phone when I have had questions have always been more than helpful and never been to busy to explain something even though you know they are busy.
