Hey guys, I am new to splawn but have a used comp on its way this week.
i found it at a guitar center in fla. Didn't get to ask many questions before it shipped out.
the question I have is, when did they start with the volume in the fx loop? Mine is a 2011.
some say 2012 is when they started.

They started in 2009 if I'm not mistaken. My 09' Quickrod has loop volume control. Yours should have it as well. Welcome to the family, you will love the amp. Where in Florida do you live?

Often wondered if I should have went with the Pro Stock or Competition since I never hardly use the clean on the QR anyway. Heard they are more aggressive than the QR.

I'm in Virginia, I did a search for a used splawn and one came up in fla, I havent seen it yet but ups said it will be in On Wednesday, gave up my jvm 205 for it. I can't wait to get it.

That's funny, I have a JVM 205 as well! The JVM is a nice amp, can't hang with the build quality and organic tone of the Splawn though.
