I bought a Splawn Nitro new from Scott in April 2012. I am the original owner. This Splawn has a loop volume control and is one of the " newer " models with the slightly increased gain and better resonance knob sensitivity than the 2008 Nitro I had.
I will post pictures later today. Amp is dead mint. I gigged it maybe 3 times and used it for a few rehearsals. Splawns were my go to amps since 2008 but I have decided to move on and part with the last of the 4 Splawns I have owned.
The cabinet was purchased in early 2009. It has one tolex blemish and is in otherwise great condition.
I'd like to get $1175 shipped/ paypal gift for the Nitro. The cabinet I need to clear $300 from so shipping would be on the buyer.

End of an era. Who's got your ears now, Stomp, Friedman? If you were just a wee bitty closer I would pop over and nab that cab with no shipping.

Ya Ayton this took a long time to actually happen. I sold my QR B+ and decided QRs were just never going to be for me. I bought the 2012 Nitro and my band fell thru. I was off for about a year and ended up in an 80s hair metal band. I picked up a Fender EVH 5150 III 50 watt and it was the beginning of the end. I bought the 100 watt 5153 a month after the 50 watt. I liked it better than the Nitro for the 80s project so my Nitro sat......for 14 months.. Three weeks ago I got the 5153 Stealth and that was the final nail. Im actually selling the 5153 standard 100 watt and the Nitro. Just keeping the Stealth and the 50 watt as a backup.
I was actually saving for the BE when I stumbled across the Stealth. Funny.
My Splawn SS2 gets gigged every Saturday night though !

Well damn. A production amp that led you away from Splawn and stopped you pursuing a Brown Eye is one I've got to hear! How does the Stealth vary from the regular 50-watt? My Googling didn't go well.

Well damn. A production amp that led you away from Splawn and stopped you pursuing a Brown Eye is one I've got to hear! How does the Stealth vary from the regular 50-watt? My Googling didn't go well. The Stealth has resonance controls for all three channels and an external bias. The blue channel is improved over the standard 100 watt and is more akin to the 50 watt. Honestly if the 50 watt did not have the shared eq and was a true 3 channel amp I would not have bought the Stealth, Im selling mu 100 watt standard and keeping the 50 watt as a backup to the stealth, I have had a ton of interest in the Nitro but the low ball offers are hilarious. I am only selling the Nitro bc it's taking up space and not getting used. I won't give it away though. I'll store it before I fire sale it.

Can you send it to Australia? If you can wait until half way through April then I would love to buy your Nitro.

After a marathon jam session and a few months of contemplating this sale I have come to the conclusion that this thing just rips too well for me to part with. I think I'll order up a Splawn 4x 12 soon come to think of it…...
