Does anyone know how the speaker outputs are wired on the Streetrod?
It has two jacks, one going to the internal speaker, and one for an external cab. I am assuming that the two jacks are wired in parallel. Is this correct?
I am assuming that it is, but would like to get confirmation.
And if this is the case, I assume I should have no problem disconnecting the internal speaker and just running the output to the cab. (my SR has a big block, and I prefer the sound of the amp through a 2x12 closed back cab).
Thanks!

Ok. Now that my mind is clear after doing some of the farm chores, I realize that my question was stupid.
The two speaker outputs have to be in parallel, as there is only one output transformer.
So the new question: is the internal speaker jack fixed at 16 ohms (i.e. wired to the 16 ohm tap on the transformer), or are both jacks run through the selector switch (tapping the transformer at the appropriate impedance)?
Thanks!

I'd give Scott a call. He'll get you the right answer.

Two 16 ohnm cabs would normally use the 8 ohm setting on most amps. ☺
