Been checking on used street rods. I must say they seem to be a bargain priced combo. 1,000-1,200, and pretty much custom tolex jobs, and as new condition. After a few years on the market is the love gone?features not popular? Reliability? Kinda weired. Used quick rods and nitros holding about the 1,300-1,400 range.

The Streetrod's are $100 or so cheaper than the QR and Nitro so I'd think they'd carry that into the used market as well. I've never played a Streetrod but from what I understand they are a QR with a lower output power section, right? You'd think they would be very popular.

It does have a harsh treble to it. I am sure that could be tweaked out with a filter resistor or something. The gears seem very subtle . Plus there seams to be a link between the loop volume and the effects loop. If a person likes it the could tweak it to be great. Don't know how Scott feels about it, but that's what I have been reading and learned hands one.
