I'm really intersted in the Super Sport (don't mind a shared EQ...never bothered me on the DSL) or the Street Rod in a head.
I'm curious how the amps resond without an OD out front? Would like to get away from this...makes channel switching nice if an OD is not present.
How well does the loop digest rack or FX pedals?
How do they do at low volume? I do have opportunites to crank it, but most of my playing is done at low volume
I'm a basement hobbiest and play for personal enjoyment.
my go to amp over the last 5 years has been the Marshall DSL 50.
As far as what I prefer to play, I'm kind of all over the place. Mostly early 90's alt Blues, Classic Rock, and Metal.

I guess at the Splawn Forum...you guys play more than discuss....that's cool. Still trying to decide amongst the new SS or SR

It used to be bustling, Clutch! Been very quiet the last few months. Don't know why, when Splawn seems to be doing better than ever.
Also, I don't think many members have the SS which makes comparison difficult. One thing I can say is that they're always very willing to talk to you at the shop. You could call up and ask about the differences between the two amps, which is better at low volume etc. and you'll get good info.
