Well cab number 1 of 2 showed up today and let me tell you ... IT LOOKS GREAT!!! Can't believe I have to wait 2 more hours to bring it home and fire it up. This guy came loaded with 2 Celestion Creambacks (65 watt Greenie) Anyway ... here's teh pronz!!!      |

Sweet. I am thinking of this to add to my Splawn Street Rod. How long did it take to come in from the time of order. Also, how is it weight and the ability to move it. Am I going to bitch everytime in need to move this.

I was curious about this cab and speakers since I am looking for a deep 212 this year.
Problem I have is the cab is only 20" tall so I would have to use an amp wedge to tilt it back plus since it is short, I would really have to always be bending over to make adjustments. That is why I tend to use tall 212 cabs and 412 cabs. Vertical cabs tend to not be wide enough for most amp heads....and I think horizontal cabs sound better.
How do you like the speakers? I had the Creamback 65s but replaced them with Lynchbacks which I find much better for my tastes. The Creambacks to me lacked any low end unless mixed with another speaker. I also found the Creamback 65s too small sounding in a 212, preferred the Lynchbacks.

Creambacks lacked low end and thickness to me, I switched to Lynchbacks! I find cabs like this too short. I hate bending over all the time to adjust, but the Amp Wedge helps get the sound up off the floor!

How do you run your Lynchbacks in a 2x12? Aren't they only available in 8ohm? That means you'd be running at 4ohms?
