Street Rod Down!

I am going to call Scott on this but thought I would check here before hand.

So I plugged in my 2 month old SR in today and I am getting nothing but loud hum and crackling after switching the standby on It starts out somewhat soft but shortly after it starts getting SO loud that I am forced to just switch the amp off. Fuses look fine and all the tubes are glowing. Any body ever have a similar issue?

What ever came of this? Do you own a QR and a SR?

I have had that happen with faulty tubes. I would replace the power tubes first and go from there. Maybe you have a tech near by? Splawns are built very well so it is probably something common and easy. I hope! Good luck!
