Hey folks, thinking about putting some 6ca7 tubes into my Splawn Street Rod. Just wondering if anyone out there could tell me what the differences in tone would be compared to EL34's. (experiences with splawns specifically would be awesome!) Thanks!

No experience with those tubes and Splawn. Ran them in a Marshall tsl I had a few years back and loved em. Good blend of el34 and 6l6. Still alot of punch and high mids, but also a little more on the low end/low mids than el34. Been pondering them in my QR here lately. Can't get over how crazy good it sounds as is haha.
