Anybody got one or tried one of these new Legacy 3 amps?
How do they compare to your Splawn(s)?
They seem very versatile, feature rich, and well-priced. Seems like a great grab'n go amp for under $1K. What do you think?

If it helps, I had a Legacy I and a Legacy II when I got my first splawn nitro. Sold the Legacy instantly, while the Carvin had a few more options, every splawn ive ever owned has sounded alot more "alive" to me. Ive owned a Nitro and Quickrod. And I currently own a StreetRod and a old Splawn Modded Marshall 1987x. Not knocking on the Carvins, they are really decent amps!! Especially if you can snag a used one, my 2 cents....

want a simpl answer, SPLAWN. No comparison, buy an Egnater Renegade for even cheaper than a 1K and you win compared to wasting a PENNY on that amp....looks pretty brutal cosmetically dont you think? Splawn cosmetics are a work of art, looks like that head for Vai was pooped on!~..........I played the Legacy III in Hollywood, absolutely horrible sounding. It was like an amp made by Sears! As quick as I turned it on....I turned it off and left Carvins building lol.
