Bought a ebmm axis today at GC . Its used has 1 ding in the top and some discoloration on the FB but other than that it is like new.Its translucent gold with a maple board. Played it about an hour before I bought it . Its the only guitar I've played that plays as good as my LP axcess.I am just a bit disapointed in the sound . Got it home and it sounds a bit boomy on the bridge pup and the neck pup sounds kinda week . I think a pair of Aldrich pups will fix that though . I still need to play it through my real rig on sunday before I make that decision . Overall I am pleased and I think I've got a winner ;D

Congrats, great guitars! I bought a used Axis SS, natural quilt, BE maple neck with vintage trem & compensated nut about a year ago, love it! Pickups are ok but I can deal with them for now, might eventually swap them out for something better. I can't say enough good about the compensated nut that thing really makes a difference.
