Just got a flyer from GC and they are advertiseing these for $999 . these are three channel the 100w were 4 weren't they . I've got gas for something new but I'm kinda thinking I can pick one up used in about a year for around $700 . I know some or you have owned the 100w and was wondering about the tone . Im sure the 100 would have more thump but they should be really similar . and IMHO thats not a bad price. I see by this link that they have been around for a while and I'm just late to the party but anyway here it is www.guitarworld.com/evh-introduces-new-5150-iii-50-watt-head-and-cab#slide-0

OT with lower voltage to give the QR a spongier feel....cant wait to get it in about 2-3 weeks!
