Yep, understood i'll still take Slash the other guy is kinda blah as a musician where as Slash has some of the most memorable lead lines in rock history!

I agree Lewis. I think most of Slash's stuff is pretty generic and without Axle he would just be another great guitarist. Tremonti however has stepped up his game and improved drastically. His new solo stuff is sick. Probably the most solid rock/hard rock album of 2012. Heard some of the riffage from the new album on the NASCAR race today. I was shocked at how well he sang and wrote complete songs.
