Rackmount or pedal? I have the Alesis 3630 rack compressor and gate in the loop on my Nitro that works perfectly. No tone coloration at all and it's 2 channels.

I have an older HUSH, its a half-rack sized, works great, but I cannot find the power supply for it. Id sell it cheap!

ISP decimator
I just sold my Boss ns2 and bought an ISP and its a much better noise gate. I run it in the loop and my amp is dead silent...and it doesnt choke off notes and sustain
paid $75 used

You'll like the ISP if your needing a pedal type.

I own a Monty Allums modded NS-2 .........its my best pedal noise gate I ever owned....sweet, true bypass and sweet needed mods to make it more transparent, they are on ebay, snag one in good cosmetic or crappy, just get one!
