You'll love it! I just received my QR and 412 with SB's about a month ago and now I can get that sound I've always wanted. Every time I fire it up is still like that very first time. Vintage to metal, the QR can do it no problem. Very easy to dial in too. Just an incredible amp. And on top of that the craftsmanship is second to none and Scott and his crew are a pleasure to work with. You made a good choice. Congrats!

+1 Make sure you post pics Your thoughts on comparison to Recto and 6505+ would be cool too.

I've played my Nitro and a Triple Rectifier back to back at a show a while ago. As much as I like Mesa Boogie I really can't even say that it was a fair fight. The Nitro had a bigger low end without being tubby, an actual mid range, and a smoother high end without the "Recto Buzz".

Guy's thanks for the replies. I sold the 6505 + to the other guitar player in the band but should be able to get a tone report when I get the amp have around 4 weeks in so I have sometime yet. For now plan to keep the Mesa. Will post pics when it arrives.

Upload the pics to photobucket and then copy the url link here.
If you want to get a cranked tone at low volumes using the loop volume put your master volume on the front around 12 o clock and then lower your loop volume to off and bring it up until desired volume level. So your loop volume will then act like a global volume for your amp. Otherwise it will get thin and buzzy sounding if you keep your front master volume low around 7-9 o clock and you use the loop volume for sound. Hope that helps.
