KT88 Nitro issues/questions

Hello all. I have a 2010 Nitro that I had modded with KT88's from EL34's. Ever since I've gotten it, I've noticed some things. My bass is kind of weak. It doesn't hit me in the chest like the EL34's did and it seems a little more flubby. Any ideas?
Also, I have the treble and the resonance totally jacked up to 10, along with the mids at 9:00 and when I turn up the volume, my sound is very muddy and muffled. It also seems to reduce the gain, even on OD2.
Finally, it just doesn't seem to have ANY saturation. The gain is great at a low volume but as soon as the volume comes up, the gain basically disappears. I was looking to run an OD pedal in front of it to compensate.

Any input is very valuable. I can provide clips soon, if need be.

It sounds possible that it's been biased very cold with the 88s. Do you know how they set it after the change?

Are your mids at 9 o'clock or 9 out of 10? Because I can see why 9 o'clock (2 out of 10) would be muffled!

I meant on 3:00! Sorry...so like 7/10.

I honestly don't know how they set it. When I first got it back from him, it didn't seem to have this problem but it's become more pronounced ever since.

I'm mostly just concerned about the presence/treble being so ineffective. When it's at a very quiet volume, it actually sounds really good. As soon as it gets turned up though, that's when things get muddy.

That sounds odd...KT88's usually sound bright with the right speakers, must be a bias thing.

I'm slightly worried that it might be the guitar, so tomorrow I'm gonna try the new one I'm picking up and see how it goes. I will make and post a video for you guys so you can see what I mean.

BTW, I'm running 2 Avatar 2x12's. One with 2 Hellatone 60's and one with a Gov'nor and a Redcoat.

Just had a thought man, what is your resonance set to? On mine I can't take it over noon or it will affect the volume/tone. Mind you, I never have it on at all cause it affects tightness as well.
