To Jerry's defense, I dont think he was the one asking to do the mod, ya know? It's his business and the customer wanted his amp modded. What was he gonna say?? "No man, can't do that...it's a Splawn"

To be honest, I'd be a little peaved off if everybody started talking crap about my work too

That being said, I love my quickrod and would never dream of having anyone mod it

C'mon guys, put the shoe on the other foot and show some respect

It's the Splawn forum. We're going to be kind of precious about Splawns.

I think this rubbed us the wrong way especially because it's so transformative. If someone put a bright switch in one or sweetened the clean or put in power scaling or something, cool. But to change it so much into an angry buzz monster is like a rejection of everything that brought us fans to this North Carolina doorstep. None of that character we're so passionate about is there. Blindfolded, it's another amp.

It's not a personal attack on Jerry/FJA. He probably hates my tone. Different strokes.

And people talk crap about your work all the time. Just on another forum.
