Fulltone TTE- Tube Tape Echo

Just picked up a Fulltone TTE after jonesing for one for years. Its primarily designed to go in the front of the amp, and it sounds pretty good. I also put it through the effects loop of my Street Rod and it sounds much better! I am kind of worried that it might damage the SR or the TTE using it this way. Anyone else try this?
