As of 8:00AM P.S.T, I placed my order for a new amp with the four button switch. I couldn't take it anymore! I love my Nitro and the tone its got. I figure two Splawn's are better than one!

I had a Pro Mod years ago. It was the 8th one first generation. Sold it at the time so I could get the second generation. Then came the Nitro, so I bought one. I love the sound of kt88's. Combined with the gearbox, is gonna sound sick!

Oh nice! Two Splawns are most definitely better. Does anyone know if it's possible to use the 4-button switch with older versions or does the amp needs modding?

Right there with you DD, I have a feeling its gonna be bad news though... I'm really not too concerned because I stay in 1st Gear through 90% of the set. When I go to 2nd Gear I usually stay there the whole song. It would be nice to be able to have that luxury though, if it was just a matter of getting a new switch. Somehow, I don't think it would be that easy though. |

I read somewhere on one of the treads that the four button switch will only work if the serial #'s are 460 and above. You may want to research that.

Splawn amps will not end gas. If you get a Splawn...you will want another one.

You may want to research that. this is correct! i asked scott about modding it so i could do it and he said it was really time intensive, and with the backlog he had of new amps he wasn't doing any mods |

I miss my PM. It was really unbearable without the loop volume for playing in the living room though. lolol
