hey, thinking about pulling the trigger on a street rod very soon. But wondering if anyone owns both the Streetrod and a quickrod that can give me a run down of the tones. Are they the same tones?
I would think they would be similar, but maybe being lower wattage changes things? Also, how is the clean channel? Heard a bunch of clips on the dirty channel, but have heard very little on the clean side of things...

Im guessing there isnt any way to order a streetrod that looks like a quickrod?

I am curious if the newer Quickrods are basically the same as the Streetrod in a bigger package. I say that because the newer QRs are supposed to be more gainy and saturated like the SR, plus they are supposed to have a better master volume and the loop volume control.

Ended up scoring a used 2010 Quickrod off craigslist... Sounds good but its gonna need new power tubes, badly lol. But I'll try to remember to report back after that. Some ppl say that there isnt a ton of difference between the Nitro and QR. Wrong!! Sure, both are splawn voiced, but different animals completely IMO
