So far from the vids and samples I have heard, Splawn amps are just what Im looking for. Since I live in Alaska I dont have ready access to test on in person. Im leaning toward the Street Rod since I like the convenience of a combo. I also have cabinets and head from other manufacureres. Im wondering how the Street Rod sounds through a 4x12? Oddly enough I have heard combos that sound pretty good but through a 4x12 not that great.
Thanks
Dave

You cannot go wrong with SR into a Splawn 4X12 My Splawn cabs are all X pattered GOV/MOW....which, for me, are the best cabs. Take care!

If you took a Quickrod ,turned it upside down, it would still sound good going through a 4x 12. My Streetrod sounds like my streetrod through 1x12,2x12 or 4x12. If you close mic live, It is all still a mic close to a speaker.

I have never liked the sound of Combos. To me the chassis in the speaker cab affects the sound in a way that I tend not too like.
