Not many SR heads on here, thought I'd post a pic of the rig that I'm diggin'. My back had enough of heavy combo's and 4x12's, so I wanted something semi-portable and great sounding. This head/cab turned out perfect in that regard. The cab is a Port City std 2x12 loaded with Scumback M and J's. I also tried SB speakers in a 2061CX-style 2x12, sounded very good but this config works and sounds best for me. Attachments:

Very cool. Did you have the cab re-tolexed? or did it just match up?

Thanks everyone. I actually ordered the head as you see it, and then custom ordered the cab to match. It's one big-sounding 2x12 rig and the bass response is perfect. I got lucky.

After using both the Pro Mod and Quickrod for the last 4 or 5 years I think I'm ready for a Streetrod, but it'd have to be the head version. I cannot stand 1x12 combos ...
That looks cool. Other than the pic of the white one on the Splawn site, I think yours is the only other head I've seen. I wonder how many are out there.

I really want a SR head but I don't have any matching cabs and speakers. All my amps, including my 412 have V30s because all my amps sound BEST with V30s. So I would have to buy one cabinet to use with the Streetrod.

I wouldn't worry about guessing what would or wouldn't sound good with the SR until you actually hear the amp in person.
