Hi guys, I'm Marco from Italy. Saturday i've bought a new Splawn Nitro, it's amazing and love it. But i think it have a problem. When i play i set the volume of clean channel at 8 o'clock (so at minimum) but for have the same volume of OD channel i must set the volume at 11 o'clock circa. It's possible? The sound is still great but i think is strange the different set of volume between clean and Overdrive. Can you help me? Thank you
Marco

Hi Marco, What do you have the bass on your clean channel set to? I messed around with the bass and gain settings on my clean sounds, and got a good balance but I took a lot of the bass/gain out because what it boils down to is that the clean channel is INCREDIBLY loud.

Does your Nitro have a Master volume? This could be why you only have to set the volume on the clean channel very low. The clean channel on my Splawn has a gain knob also. If the gain is up then the volume on the clean channel does not need much to be very loud. Turn down the gain and turn up your volume on the clean side and see if that helps even it out

So i have a 2011 Splawn Nitro, and my clean (yeah is very loud) EQ is this: bass at 1 o'clock, treeble at 11 o'clock, volume at 8-9 o'clock, gain at 12 o'clock. But what i don't understand is that, at the same quantity of gain of clean and OD channel, the OD channel have need more volume of clean channel for have the same volume. The same thing happens to you? However i'll do other tests set the clean channel, later. But it seems to me rather strange. None of the other amp I had did this to me.
