I might add, these speakers are like new. I have had them for about 3 years now, and they have never been gigged. All 4 are in excellent condition!

Cause I am buying the Scumbacks. They are like twice the amount of the G12H30s, and I have to make a sacrifice somewhere.

I know they are expensive. I would hate to get rid of these G12H30s, but I really feel like the Scumbacks will have a positive impact on my tone. I look at it this way, I have 2 halfstacks.........both were very expensive and can be considered custom amps. The only aspect about my rig that is not custom are the speakers.
I realized more recently that the speakers are half of your sound. If the amps and guitars rock and the speakers don't match up to the desired sound.......then it can make things seem not right. I feel like the Eminence are too high of wattage for me. TOO LOUD! Did you ever think I would ever say that? LOL The G12H30s are great speakers, I wished that 2 of them were the 55hz. They make the new Celestion G12H30 Heritage Speaker that is 55hz. The standard Special Edition is 75hz. Think of the Heritage as a bass speaker and the regular 75hz G12H30 as a standard guitar speaker. The 55hz is great for strat players............gives them more bass response.

I changed it again. If anyone wants to buy it in pairs I will do that too. I know some people have 2x12s.

I totally agree that the Emis are too loud. The G12H30s are more alive too me. The Scumbacks are woody sounding, like the G12H30s, but have more smooth high end. The 55hz version will have the more lowend. Looking forward to that.

Also, I like it when speakers sound really pushed. For a high wattage cab, you would need a 200watt amp to really push the speakers. That why I like 120watt cabs. You can really push the cab. The extra 20watts of head room is great too.....more lowend yet the cab is still being pushed!

G12H30s can also rip your face off too! LOL I like the sound of the speaker being pushed hard. You have to crank the Quick Rod much much louder with the Eminence to get that pushed sound. Believe me, I can make my ears ring pretty good with the G12H30s too. Its the woody/warm/aggressive sound that I like better. The G12H30s are close for my tastes, but I want a tad more bass response and a little smoother high end. The Scumbacks will do that! And as of right now, I am deciding weather the 30watt or the 65watt Scumbacks would be best for me. I think the 30watters would be better though because of the advantages!
If anyone know anyone that would want G12H30s, let them know!
