what are you guys using in your pro mods? I came by a 2005 two input QR that I really dig so I'm going to do the resistor change to turn my three gear quick rod into a pro mod...
Kt88s? 6550s? I think that's the one...they're interchangeable right?

I have Penta Labs KT88 as per Doug's Tubes suggestion. I'm happy with them. You can interchange 6550s but some can have complications handling the higher plate voltages of the Splawns, like Tung Sol.

I'll have to look into those...it was originally loaded with JJs right? I think Scott's still using those Sinos these days
