I heard him first on A little ain't enough with Steve Hunter I think it was...he was really young too but a real prodigy, actual musical ability and not just chops. I have two Cacophony albums but I still haven't heard his other shrapnel stuff yet. I always thought he should have teamed up with Ritchie Kotzen...

Dude, get Perpetual Burn.. its way better than any of the Cacophony stuff and Marty plays on a few tunes. Great album all the way through.

Yeah not a big fan of Dragons Kiss.. I like that True Obsession one he did.. Music for Speeding is ok.. but most of his solo stuff is hit and miss.

"Perpetual Burn" gets played by me at least a couple of times a month... For years now. I would really have like to see where Jason would have went if he matured as a player, but unfortunately his condition kept him from progressing... Marty's solo on "Temple of the Absurd" is just so invigorating. Love that tune! I agree with Craig about Marty's stuff being hit or miss. "Dragon's Kiss" is so-so. Of all his albums I definitely like "Scenes" best. "Loudspeaker" is OK. "Tokyo Jukebox" is probably my 3rd favorite album of his. "Scenes" and "Rust in Peace"/"Countdown to Extinction" are his best works, and "The Killing Road" has one of the greatest solos of all time. BTW Craig, how in the hell have you been!!?? Haven't talked to you in freaking forever.
