here is a link to check out the quick demo i made.... www.reverbnation.com/counterpointmelodythat is my reverbnation page, should show up as the first song in the player. i just ran double rhythm tracks, so the first half of the clip is Mullard EL34s, second half of the clip is JJ KT77s. the leads were all done with the EL34s. for specifics, the rhythm stuff is all 3rd gear, gain about 11 o clock, presence noon, bass 9:30ish, mid noon, treble noon. leads are all 1st or 2nd gear, less bass, more mids/treble/presence. i noticed the KT77s have much more on the low end, and less on the high end than the Mullards. i'm having to drop the bass a bit and push my mids/treble a bit more to get close to the sound i used to get with my Mullards. overall, i'm really liking the KT77s. opinions, questions or etc are all welcome!

Good comparison, the KT77's do sound good, I might give them a try in my Competition. Nice playing, thanks for posting!
