The other guitarist in my band got a Supercomp (with KT's). I'm using a old 2Ch Triple recto BlackFace(El34'd) now. The Combination of these 2 Amps is unreal. They sound very balanced with each other and while they have there own thing going on they don't sound worlds apart like you might expect, at least I didnt expect it having owned a QR. It just plain kills. SICK!

I converted from a DR to a Nitro. To me the Nitro is everything that I wanted out of my DR.

You're getting me excited for my new bands first gig (oct 22nd, hillsboro, wi) I will be using my 2ch triple rec with my quick rod in stereo (other guitarist uses a stilleto 212 combo and tremoverb halfstack). I think Mesa and Splawn are like peanut butter and jelly, sonically perfect together. Alone they're incredible but together its unlike any tone I've ever found. Brutal and beautiful, just killer

That's funny. The week before I bought my Nitro I was on the fence about a blackface Triple Recto for sale locally. It was hands down the best of any Recto I've ever played. But since I've had Recto's before I decided to try something new and opted for the Nitro which is in the same ball park as a Recto but without the mid scoop and a little smoother.

Man I'm a converted EL'34 user in in recto's. It gives it that mid bark it's missing when running 6l6's. Plus the orange ch. sounds more, well orange ;D. Shame it took me so long to try it.
