Someone broke into my practice space and stole my promod... and my splawn cab. and my entire rack... Same deal for the other guitarist. Worst day ever It looks like insurance will cover it but thats several months before I can get a replacement. Too long without splawn guitar tone. I'm going to go cry now.

Oh jeeez! That's like my worst nightmare. So sorry man, I hope they can find the guys that did it. Keep an eye out on craigslist and local pawn shops to see if it happens. Where was your practice space? Was it well locked and protected? Total bummer man.

That is terrible news, so sorry to hear that bro! There's a lot of that going on these days and it seems I hearing these stories more frequently all the time. Someone broke into my daughter's car yesterday just to steal a freaking ipod. They busted the rear passenger window on her '88 Toyota wagon just to get in, in broad day light, in the Red Lobster parking lot while she was working. People are getting nuttier all the time.
Again sorry for your loss and good luck with everything!

Awful.
I suggest posting the serial number and cosmetic details in our trade forum, as well as Harmony Central Amp Forum, TGP, and the like.

This is a good site too for doing nationwide searches of both craigslist and ebay for specific gear. Luckily for you Splawn's are pretty rare. instrument.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/music.cgi?cat=msg&fil=&itm=splawn&state=&ps=&pe=&ys=&ye=&so=d&submit=+GO+Good luck man

The insurance adjuster just called me and said that because my band was a "business" (we haven't even played any shows yet), I was only entitled up to 200 dollars ($4700 of stuff stolen).
I flipped out naturally. I immediately went to call my dad (lawyer) and my insurance agent to find some loophole I could jump through.
The adjuster called back and said she reviewed the policy and that all of it was covered. Heart attack averted!

Yes,
welcome to the 21st century! I lost a Marshall JVM and hard to replace Explorer. I now have musical instrument insurance with Clarion, about $120 a year for peace of mind at the gig.
Good to hear the insurance will pay, and sorry for your loss!

Thieves are a cancer. If anyone has a good insurance provider for gear please post the info. I hope the losers get caught
