You could send it to jerry over at fja....Matt said he did a comparison between his new Nitro with the new updates and the nick supercomp and said they are very similar......just a thought and I know that will bring much butthurt on these forums.lol Yeah. They sounded pretty much the same to me. The FJA modded amp was capable of alot more low end though. too much - like the early Nitros. My buddy who owns the FJA previously had a 2010 Nitro. He seems to like the FJA more though -so maybe he hears more of a difference. from what I understand jerry just addressed mids of the amp and gave it a little more saturation.pretty much kept the tone the same otherwise.why he would add more lowend is beyond me though..lol |

^I didn't think it was any more saturated that my Nitro. The low-end got insane when my buddy pulled some knob on it. I really didn't mess with the dials. We just a/b'd and they were pretty similar sounding, so I really didn't bother messing with it much. We had other amps to check out that day.

Well.....8 months after originally posting this I think I am about to order a second Nitro. I have played a lot of amps over the last year but the Nitro just gives me the sound I want. Other amps have more gain or features but my ears are just aligned for that voicing the Nitro has.
Im still curious about the changes the Nitro has gone through as I have come to realze that my Nitro is perfect for me as it is. Maybe I should buy an older used one but then my curiosity would still not be satiated. I have not pulled the trigger yet but I think I will be.

I ordered one straight from the shop. I am very much looking forward to an A/B comparison to my 2008. I love the 2008 and Scott thinks I will love the tweaks that have happened in the last 3-4 years. I dont doubt it one bit.
