What does the MODE button do on the Supercomp? MY friend just got one and the Foot Switch seems not to be working at all. The LED's don't illuminate when the foot switch is pressed. Also no Super Comp Manual available? Only the Nitro available for download.

Call Scott about the footswitch not working right. He can troubleshoot it with you and I'm sure he can get you a new one if needed.
The mode switch is sort of a mystery. I asked Josh about it one day and he said it's more saturated but in a somehow different way than the od1/od2.

"The mode switch is sort of a mystery" Oh well, haha. It's would be really nice to know what it really is doing.. I've determined that the switching is working but the LED's are not so It's not a huge deal. But yea , my friends going to contact Splawn and see if he can get it replaced.

The mode switch increases the low mids, not really the bottom end, the difference is a subtle one, not earth moving. OD1/OD2 has more effect if you run the gain at 12 oclock or less in my expierience with my Super Comp. Definitely call Scott and ask about the led's not working. My SC is a 2011 model, i am still learning little things about it almost weekly, awesome amp to say the least, the manual is the same, as the SC is the OD channel from the Nitro.

I was under the influence that the mode switch increased the high mids on the SC.gave it more of that Qr voicing while retaining that Nitro lowend?
