Hi folks I'd like to plug 2 2x12 8 ohm cabinets on my splawn nitro And play through both of them at the same time.
I wonder which Ohm setting should I set the nitro on.
4 ohm or 8 ohm or 16 ohm??

Please tell me how it works
Why 4 ohm?
so 2 x 16 ohm cabinets = 8 ohm 2 x 8 ohm cabinets = 4 ohm
and what about 2 x 4 ohm cabinets??

i believe you would run it at the same as the cab so in this case one speaker cable from amp to one cab at 8 ohm and another speaker cable from amp to other cab at 8 ohm

Please tell me how it works Why 4 ohm? so 2 x 16 ohm cabinets = 8 ohm 2 x 8 ohm cabinets = 4 ohm and what about 2 x 4 ohm cabinets?? You are correct. Running speakers in parallel (two cabs into one amp) results in halving the cabs individual impedance. It is not recommended to run two 4ohm cabs. This would result in a 2ohm load and could harm the transformer. Running two 8 ohm cabs at the 8 ohm setting on the amp will result in accelerated power tube wear and possible damage to the amp itself.
