Sounds great to me! And another sweet pair of chesticles on the cover!
Too soft for ya? Sounds quite God's Equationy to me, which I know you felt was for das girlymen.

Sounds just like Pagan's Mind's 2nd album. They're cool, but slightly boring to me overall if I listen to them like 5-6 songs in a row. They don't have much variation in their sound. Their last album actually had the most variation, but only a couple of great tunes IIRC.

I know only two or three of us care, but I've been spinning this a week or so and enjoying it more and more each time. I pre-ordered after S75 started this thread. Amazon was doing the limited edition (two extra tracks) for the same price as the regular edition, so that was an easy choice.
Not hearing quite the dynamics from track to track of God's Equation, or a broad epic like Painted Skies (prob my fave from that album) but there are acres of heavily layered, slickly produced tunes here to kinda fall into. I continue to be impressed by the vocals, normally the first thing to fall short for me with other bands of this ilk, and the band retains that knack of brewing up strong, catchy melodies without sounding any less prog metal.
It can be a bit sugary in places:
Give a hand to the weak and weary Give them peace and strength to carry on
But that's the exception, not the rule. Early standout is probably Walk Away in Silence.
Oh, and the new tits are sensational.

Are they still singing about nebula's, stargazer's, and black hole's?
