it seems my od2 isnt doing anything or at least i remember it doing more ive moved the gain everywhere and it just dosn't seem to change anything besides maybe a change in the mids

Assuming you're not in Solo mode, which of course is always OD2, maybe something went screwy with the footswitch?

I don't think you're right about the solo mode. I'm fairly certain you can engage that in either od mode. At least you can on my 2010 nitro. It definitely sounds different from od1 to od2 in both normal and solo modes.

It definitely sounds different from od1 to od2 in both normal and solo modes. Oh? Possibly. It works that way on all the other amps; automatic switch to OD2 at the same time as a volume boost. Greg, is the OD2 LED still activating in the footswitch? |

Od1/Od2 does little for the Nitro to my ears unless you run the gain at noon or below. i dont so I find the feature in need of improvement. I never use it. Makes a lot more difference on the QR.
