Hi all- Once again I am going to see one of my absolute all time favorite guitarists/vocalists tonight...Rik Emmett of Triumph. He performs at an annual charity event in NJ at a small VFW. I did it last year and was blown away. What a great guy. He currently is touring with Dave Dunlop, recording, teaching in Canada, plays a few festivals with Triumph etc....he keeps very busy. Here is a pic from last year: I can't wait!

Sounds like a blast... hope you have a great time! It's always fun to see your favorite bands/musicians in a small venue. Most VFW's are small even by small standards! Have fun! \m/

It was great! About 200 people...which was capacity. Funny thing...this morning at the hotel's breakfast, Rik and Dave sat next to us. We ended up briefly chatting about the US Festival and guitars. Such a nice guy. A killer player too!

Very cool Kev. Emmet is an amazing player. I would love the chance to pick his brain about things. On another note....tell Vom to give his boyfriend a break and get back on the boards. Next thing you know he'll be rammin DC while Shredder watches.
