I just found my old fish and chips eq pedal and was wondering how much more I can get out of the Competition. Right now I'm super happy with my metal settings on the amp. Right now my set up is guitar-tuner-amp.

Does anyone have any EQ pedal settings for metal or the brutal? Do you use the pedal in the loop or in front of the amp?

I have a Fish n chips eq that I sometimes use with my Competition in the loop. Drop the 1.6 down halfway between neutral and the first dot, 3.2 up halfway between neutral (0) and the first dot and 6.4 up to the first dot. Very slight tweak but adds some life to the tone.
