Been looking at these cabinets and I feel like with the higher end Marshall cabs (AX,TV, and HW) I am paying more for name than tone and quality and I am getting this at Splawn with a more fair price.
I guess my question is, do you think the Big Block can cover the range of music I like (High on Fire, The Sword to Classic Rock AKA Sabbath, ZZ Top, James Gang) or would I be better off with an unloaded cabinet and picking up some Eminence Speakers of my choice (probably a mix of Governors and Wizards as I had in my Green Matamp).
I'll be running it through a rebuilt 1982 JCM800 2204 and a Gibson SG standard with 57 classics and a 1985 Burny RLG50 SuperGrade LP with Dimarzio SD in the bridge. Plus an Overdrive (EQD Monarch) and fuzz (Ronsound Hairpie) in front.
Thanks.
