I played a show at a new bar last night. Well. The bar isn't new but it's one we hadn't played at before before so it was new to us.
The main room was nice and big and we couldn't mic the guitar cabinets so I just had to crank my nitro. Holy hell. I had never played it (or anything) that loud before. So much thump! My rhythm tone was brutal and my lead tone (on od2 with the solo boost engaged) came screaming through the mix.
After the show I got more compliments on my sound than I ever have before. The guys from the other band had never heard of splawn but they seemed really impressed.
