New Street Rod Owner! I had watched The Gear Page and RigTalk for awhile and missed the few used SR's that came-up for sale...I placed an order in later December for a new one and it arrived yesterday. I knew I wanted the red tolex and the black/white weave...Scott suggested the black faceplate and the vintage white chicken-head knobs. (There is gold piping on the cab also which my rotten photography skills and bad lighting failed to capture. Secondly, the tolex isn't as "orange-ish" as the photo shows...It is a similar to Marshall or Vox-style red tolex) Unfortunately, I have only had a couple hours to mess with it...Spending a bit of time dialing it in has yielded some super results which I have no doubt will get even better. After only a few hours in, I can safely say it is awesome! Everyone says..."It really is like the best Marshall sound you can think of..." After a day, I can see where they are coming from...It is a really nice sounding amp! I have a Marshall at Dave Friedmans getting the Kitchen Sink + mods (BE, HBE, C45, Sat, Fat and Gain switches) that is going to be in for some serious competition when it gets home! ;D Thanks Scott and Josh and everyone else at Splawn...It is super cool! Dan

Awesome looking ... Mine is white with the same grill cloth and a white chassis face plate and white piping. Black chicken head knobs. Sorta like the Quickrod in the Fireflight video... Congrats.. can you give pics of the back and back corners/tolex ? let me know on some of your settings and tones if you do not mind.. Also check to see if your big tranny on the back left looking at the back of the amp sits a touch crooked? I am trying to sort out a Fed Ex disaster with mine Read my post.... Enjoy it and Congratulations again.....

Killer looking SR. Congrats! I think what you 'll find is that Scott and CO. build a killer amp (not a mod that will cost you half or more of what their amps cost) and they are there for you if you have any type of problem or question. You cannot beat Splawn qualilty or service. You just can't.

+1 TJ
Amp looks great Dan. Try running the solo control just a bit above where you have the volume control (even if you are not using the solo feature). Also try running the treble on '0' and report back. There is some hidden mojo at that setting.
